Hi, I’m Spencer and I would like to welcome you to Pythagoras Jiu Jitsu in Punta Gorda, FL. I’m the owner and chief instructor, and I’ve been studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over a decade. I opened my Punta Gorda martial arts school in January of 2022 in order to serve my mission of bringing practical self-defense skills to families in the Punta Gorda community.

Jiu jitsu is a great martial art for women and children to learn how to properly defend themselves and de-escalate situations that may become violent. We begin working with children at the age of 5 and have programs that focus on ages 5-7 and ages 8-12.

We also offer adult classes for men and women ages 13 and up. These classes are practical and involve one-on-one training in order to properly learn, practice, and master the techniques. We welcome all interested students to come try a free class and see if Pythagoras Jiu Jitsu is the right fit for you and your family.
